Our tournament in Dallas at Common Ground really was peak Heroscape. I've played in other competitive events before, but never in a tournament where everyone was having this much fun. Our crew was out to have a good time, and the games themselves delivered.

My list centered around Maladrix, Oathbound Phalanx, and Ewashia, the former of which was the star of the show. Over the course of the tournament, the Queen pulled off not one, not two, but *three* Infestation kills that swung the game back from the brink, including against another Maladrix in the Finals. Competition was stiff, and it came down to a battle of one Frostclaw Paladin versus a 1-health Ewashia to decide it all. Absolute cinema, and a perfect encapsulation of all the reasons I love the game.
