In the My Little Pony Roleplaying Game, players craft their own custom pony character to use in their storytelling game of friendship and magic, as they combat various Threats and other problems in Equestria and beyond throughout their adventures, led by their Game Master. The Game Master can use pre-written adventures (in the Core Rulebook and supplements) or use adventure hooks presented in the book to create all new stories for the players to enjoy.

Features:

  • Create a unique Pony character of your very own
  • Complete rulebook for telling your own My Little Pony stories
  • One player is the Game Master who leads the story  for 2–5 other players
  • Contains an introductory story for a new group of friends
  • Full color hardcover book with ribbon bookmark

Book Summary:

  • Full Color, Hardcover Book
  • Satin Ribbon Bookmark
  • Ages 14+

The age rating on this game speaks to the age an individual can independently cultivate a quality, as-intended experience for themselves playing the game. It's not to say that younger kids can't play, quite the contrary. It's just suggested that they have a 14+ person helping them play to ensure they have a quality experience.

    MLP TTRPG Book

Posted by Tim on Jul 7th 2024

This book was my introduction to roll20 TTRPGs and I and my friends love this system. Though I will say it was very difficult for a complete newbie as myself to figure out, and am still activity having to figure stuff out since it can be confusing at times. But after a year of using this system I can not recommend it enough especially now that the Dragon and Changeling playbooks are out. The beginning adventure Stealing Thunder is a great oneshot and is a great MLP way of characters introducing one another. Past it being difficult for beginners to grasp I would say my only real complaint is how the game really doesn't want you to fight and really wants you to avoid fighting. Character HP is really low and will just remain that way no matter your level so healing and protection magic is almost a requirement if you have a character that wants to fight. Hopefully the new book (coming out in October 2024) fixes this. But past that it's a really good TTRPG, covers most topics (even if some you need to search for) and does not shy away from homebrewing which is nice.
