Can’t go back after playing with this
Hard to say much more other than that, if you have the space, this is pretty much a must-buy if you like to play A&A Global 1940. It’s huge, high resolution, and has stitched edges. Really a premium product that makes the setup and presence of this game absolutely epic. It also helps that it’s bigger than the boards in the box, making it much better for de-cluttering the map when it’s all set up, especially in Europe.

Beautiful Map!
The map is exactly what I wanted, this thing is massive so make sure you have the table space, colors are bright and vibrant and all writing is very clear print, rolls up nicely for storage and shipping was very fast!

Axis & Allies 1940 Global Map
I really like it. It's much larger than the original game board, so make sure you a table large enough. It's high quality with a rubber back so it won't slide on your gaming table. No more worrying about hitting the board and watching all of the pieces scatter. The larger size allows for more units to fit in a region without knocking over other units when you reach for them. In some cases I'll still use separate army/fleet boards and markers. I think the price is pretty good compared to other game mats. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Quality Map
The map is high quality, thick enough it won't wrinkle, yet thin enough to roll up easily. I found the Eastern Europe area of the original game boards gets very crowded, so a 20% boost in size is beneficial. Also no more map seams, and a map that won't move if bumped.
