The year is 1941.  The Axis war machine appears invincible.  The Balkans have fallen.  Pearl Harbor has been attacked, and Rommel has the British on the run in  North Africa.

At this explosive point in history, the Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition challenges you and your opponents to decide the outcome of World War II.  As one of the world powers struggling for supremacy in 1941, you must spearhead your country's military drive.

Axis & Allies celebrates its 40th anniversary with the re-release of this deluxe edition, designed and developed by Larry Harris, the original creator of Axis & Allies.  This edition includes an all-new, huge 24" by 46" game board, new cruiser units, and Italy as the third Axis nation.

    Great game

The game is fun to play. It is better with two players than six since you get to take more turns each and learn faster. The game pieces are high quality and so is the board. I would recommend getting the premium roll out mat if you end up playing a lot. It is worth it. I completely recommend this game.

    Great game

The game is a lot of fun. You can play with up to six players, but I think it’s better with two. Easier to learn the rules because you get to take your turns faster. The minis have diffferent designs for each nation which is pretty cool. The game does take several hours, but that is a bonus for me and my friends. The only complaint I have is the map sections connect down the middle of Europe and some territories get really tight with units, but that’s a size constraint. I was also able to fix it with the deluxe edition map. I’d highly recommend this game it’s awesome.
