Great minis
Super fun to play. The paint job on the figures was decent. Sometimes they require a touch up, but these were great right out of the box. The hero and squad fit pretty easily into lots of different team setups.

Excellent Set
One of my favorite Heroscape sets ever. I love that Renegade is leaning more into more complex/synergistic sets, and this is a great example. The Oathbound Phalanx/Oathbound Legionnaires hero + squad specifically pair up with each other and gives you two unique ways to play them that can be switched on the fly. Do you keep all the Legionnaires on the Phalanx card so that you have one monster hero that takes at least (at LEAST) four activations to kill? Or do you spread out and use them as a bonding unit? Or, do you switch that strategy halfway through? Maybe you march the Phalanx up the enemy's ranks, then disperse. From a gameplay perspective, just a super well-designed pair of units. Hope to see more in this style. And what can I even say about the sculpt? It's great. A giant ball of bugs is such a cool idea for a mini, might actually be my favorite Heroscape unit ever purely from an aesthetic perspective. Renegade's sculpts are just way better than the original run in terms of quality. Get this set + the Queen Maladrix set for a fun and effective bug-themed army!
