Hello, Heroscape players everywhere! My name is Trevor McGregor and I’m the Organized Play Manager here at Renegade Game Studios. Heroscape is returning to a friendly local game store near you at the end of August (August 29th to be exact) and official Heroscape Organized Play starts on September 6th with the Heroscape Launch Party. I’m going to spend some time in this space over the next few months to go over all of the details of Heroscape Organized Play and get everyone ready to join the Battle of All Time. 

Before we get to clashing with your favorite army at your local game store, we have a Heroscape preview at Gen Con in early August (August 1st-4th) with a full slate of Heroscape events for you to play in. Make sure to check out all that’s going on with Renegade at Gen Con here. We have a weekend full of Heroscape Battle Box Beginner Events for new and returning Heroscape players. The Battle Box Beginner Events do not require players to bring anything; just show up and play. 

We also have a few Heroscape premade events for players looking to craft their own army and play. With premade events, there are some additional details players will need to prepare their armies. The Battle for All Time, Battle of Uniques, and 20th Anniversary Celebration events will use the All Time format, which includes all classic and contemporary Heroscape units (except for Marvel). The Champion of Valhalla event will use the Contemporary format, which only includes figures published by Renegade. 

Army Card Point Updates

First up there are some Point Updates to ensure a better competitive balance in the All Time format. The following figures have had their point values changed. These point value changes will be effective for all Gen Con premade events and all future Organized Play events.

Increased from 180 to 250 points.

Nilfheim

Increased from 185 to 240 points.

Raelin the Kyrie Warrior

Increased from 80 to 125 points.

Increased from 50 to 105 points.
