Heroscape AOA Premium Painted WOW!
As a huge fan of the original Heroscape I knew I had to have this. I wanted to order it directly from Renegade Games Studios and they did not let me down. The packing was top notch and the shipping was super fast. Me and my family stayed up all night playing. It was a huge hit!! The painted miniatures were detailed and looked great!

Amazing Quality
I am in love with the detail on the figures. Raelin is my favorite from the lot, and I plan on using her in some tournaments coming up. I plan on getting future sets when they release. There are a few notes when comparing to older heroscape figures. 1: there is no sticker on the base. 2: the figures do not have a "wash" to them, the colors are stark. HOWEVER this is NOT old heroscape. neither affect the gameplay and only enhance the figures themselves.

Master Set
Heroscape is the greatest board game of all time! If you like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Warhammer, or anything like that. You will love this game. I I played it for over 12 hours the first week I got it. It is non stop fun and highly replayable. The numerous maps and army combinations you can do make each session unique. The new pirate faction is probably my favorite faction, even more than the old school heroscape stuff. The new Raelin is one of the coolest miniatures ever made in ANY game. I have played this with my wife and family. Everyone has enjoyed it. The game is fairly simple to pick up and yet still contains a lot of depth . The terrain is compatible with numerous other table top rpgs as well. I have used it for dungeons and dragons numerous times. If you like board games and fantasy, this is an absolute must have. Oh and if any heroscape veterans from 2004 are reading this, they new water tiles are amazing and not like the brail 2nd edition ones. They are made of this rubbery plastic material that is much sturdier than the old water tiles.

Overall Good Master Set with a few things lacking
Overall this master set was pretty good! I love the pirate theme for some units, although they seem underwhelming when facing frost claw paladins. The terrain is very cool except for the new walls which I HATE but I love the new water tiles. Frost claw Paladins with Knight Irene are ABSOLUTELY the highlight of the master set as they are strong units, offer a unique play style, and look super badass (sorry for my language)! I am interested in more Polar Bear themed units, perhaps ranged units next please?!, as I think it’s a super fun theme
