CHILDREN OF CAINE
The children of the night – what games they play! And what games can we play with them?
Vampires have lurked among us since the first cities rose nameless by the Euphrates. They command mighty powers and strange magics, they hunt in singular ways, they even flock together when times demand it.
This book collects new character-building options, powers, guides for playing together and alone and virtually, and new ways to use the old rules of Vampire: The Masquerade.
Features:
- Profiles for all Kindred clans, including Banu Haqim, Hecata, Lasombra, The Ministry, Ravnos, Salubri, Tzimisce, Caitiff, and Thin Blood.
- New Discipline Powers, Blood Sorcery Rituals, and Thin-Blood Alchemy, plus the Oblivion Discipline and its Ceremonies.
- Systems and advantages for coteries, including four new coterie types.
- Guidelines and advice for non-traditional chronicles, including: all Thin-blood, troupe-style, virtual play, and play without a Storyteller.

Vampire: the masquerade player handbook
Wasn't what I was expecting, but not an unpleasant surprise, rarely have bad things to say about Vampire: the masquerade

As a Discord Mod and ST, this is a great addition but won't replace the Corebook
The presentation on content of the v5 Players guide is great. Far more organized than previous v5 works which have me hunting within a book with ctr-F or looking up which book contains which ritual/alchemy/discipline. The players guide works to augment the original core book by bringing together essential information/clans/disciplines etc. that came out after core and adding additional clarification, alternate banes and much more. The downside I've seen is that the discipline lists neglect mention of which ones are clan specific. We've ruled that they can be taught on my server but for example, a Gangrel won't be able to learn Fleshcrafting or horrid form without a Tzimisce teacher. The Players guide simply lists all the non-core protean skills without mention of clan. Overall this is a great addition to the lore. If you could only buy 3 books I would go with Players Guide, the VTM v5 Corebook and Cults of the Blood Gods.
