    Sabbat

Overall, this is possibly the best showing of V5 yet. The new direction of the Sabbat seems organic and absolutely cool. The art is cool as hell. It does lack loresheets which are one of v5's stronger points. I also wish it included a named character or two.

    Well Worth the Wait

This is the supplement so many people have been waiting for and it certainly did not disappoint me. It's the perfect reintroduction to the Sabbat for V5. For those, like me, that are familiar with the faction from earlier editions will see so much brought back to the light in the V5 way. While it's meant to be used for antagonists, enterprising Storytellers and players are given enough tools and background to incorporate the Sabbat just about any way they want. For those that are new to the Sabbat, the supplement is a nice primer to the Sabbat. If you were on the fence about picking this one up, do it. You won't regret it.

Not what I wanted, but made sense.

With the massive changes to the V5 setting, this drastically changed the lore by miles. since most of the middle group of the sect is gone. Unfortunately this means there was no place to put major history of the sect, like the Purchase Pact or the Code of Milan, or any of the civil wars, or even the Black Hand, a sub faction within the sect. There also wasn't a terrible amount of crunch, and to an extent it felt a bit rushed and reactionary. Also, it took forever, ironically, to even be released as a pdf, let alone a physical book. Also, the Second Inquisition is a huge factor in this book, but honestly that group of hunters is a played out set of surveillance state analogies that are seriously unrealistic, and unnecessary to the game as a whole. This book could have been better, but it was alright for what we got.
