Gen Con 2022 was so much fun! Through all of our Gen Con planning, community was our central focus. Making our community happy is why we do what we do. So to get the opportunity to see so many of them in person, and run some cool initiatives that would bring smiles to their faces, was something we had been greatly looking forward to all year.

Our primary community event, the Renegade Community Bash, was awesome! The community showed up in full force. The lines were HUGE, wrapping all throughout the halls! We gave away over 100 items during the community bash, utilizing our Discord server to facilitate the huge raffle! Things we gave away included signed games, unreleased games, prototype items, professionally painted miniatures, and more!

We had so much fun seeing the hundreds of awesome people come out and join us for a chance to win some of our coolest prizes of the week! 

All of us at Renegade are gamers, just like each member of our community. So during planning, we would often think to ourselves... What would I want if I was a part of this community? Free games was a no-brainer.

Speaking of free games... One of our favorite community initiatives this year, were the secret Golden Tickets! Golden Tickets?! That's right! We filled a small number of our maps with Golden Tickets that granted the finder a free Renegade game!

Community members who found a Golden Ticket got to come down to Room 139 and pick ANY game off the shelf to take home for FREE!
