Even in dress uniform at the victory galas held by the Great Western Warrens, Imperator Kayne’s presence demands fear and respect. Few Vorids alive have single-handedly done as much for the war effort. If it weren’t for his investment in mining cyaline deposits, extracting it from deep underground in its volatile early stages, the Warrens might have collapsed against the Cynodont Hegemony long ago. He who controls the cyaline controls the war, and where today there are only smoldering burrows, Imperator Kayne sees the refineries and rigs that will power the technological revolutions of tomorrow. But the grandest of his achievements are the many enemy encampments he has personally trampled underfoot to clear the path for progress.

His All-Terrain Fighting Vehicle shakes the earth as it channels the raw power of cyaline into every stomping footstep, belching the noxious fumes of victory. His chaingun fills the brisk morning air with fire and scrap, and he howls war tunes from above, inspiring the soldiers carrying on in his wake. He may have received the title of Imperator for his financial contributions to the cause, but his medals of bravery are all his own. When troops learn that Imperator Kayne is going to be deployed to lead the charge, they know that victory is near at hand. Typically, his only order is that they give him a wide berth.
