Kilkorax is not Revna’s first follower. Nor is she her second, or her third. The Lady Revna collects new followers with rapid ease, multiplying her people’s strength with an uncommon speed. How could she not? In a land torn by senseless war, plagued by death and false promises, Revna offers what no-one else can. Revna is a new beginning. Revna is hope.

As the dead pile high and the war rages on, Revna’s influence grows. Kilkorax guesses she is somewhere near Lady Revna’s three-thousandth follower, if you count the bugs. And there have been more since.

She watches a robed figure stumble and fall, exhausted from their march. As a wave of her staff pulls the wretch back to their feet, she wonders why Revna would bother with such weak creatures. Curiosity keeps her moving forward. Revna’s obtuse goals will reveal themselves eventually; and Kilkorax intends to be present to see them come to pass.
