Wherever there’s trouble, G.I. JOE is there. Given the many places needing aid, new recruits, affectionately called “Greenshirts”, are a crucial core of G.I. JOE’s indispensable infantry. Every member of G.I. JOE starts out as a Greenshirt. While they aren’t yet full members, they are still among the best the military has to offer. Each new Greenshirt is selected for their specialties and expertise. The best of them eventually become fully-fledged G.I. JOEs, earning their code names.

Make no mistake, despite being the grunts of G.I. JOE, Greenshirts are still effective—and dangerous—soldiers.
