Greetings Vamily, the Month of Darkness draws near! This October we’ve got a full slate of goodies and promotions available for you, whether you’re a hardcore Vampire: The Masquerade player, a serious Rivals expandable card game player, or a Hunter: The Reckoning player looking to hit the streets and take down your quarry! Check out the list below for a peek at all the goodness coming your way, and tune in to WoD News this week at 5PM CEST to hear more about it!

First up, for any orders of an in-stock World of Darkness product placed on our webstores during the month of October, you’ll receive a Month of Darkness Promo Pack at no additional cost (one per customer, while supplies last). These packs have something for everyone! For our Rivals players, we've crafted 5 Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals promo cards featuring the characters from our Vampire live play series, the Nightlife! These characters come to life in-game, expanding the options for your coterie! For Hunters, the pack also includes a Hunter: The Reckoning dice bag, and for Vampire: The Masquerade players, an oversized d10 to throw for any extra important narrative moments during your next story!

Then throughout the month we’ll be sharing new content, community polls, previews, and more! The first half of the month will focus on Hunter: The Reckoning, and the second half of the month will cater more to Vampire: The Masquerade! Check out the full schedule below:

Week 1, October 5th

• Free Content Drop - Hunter: The Reckoning Character Development Resource - Making a new character can be difficult. One helpful trick is asking yourself a few questions in character to define your character’s personality and select key traits!
• Character Creation Competition - Our Vampire: The Masquerade character creation competition kicks off on Discord! Since we just got to experience our Hunter: The Reckoning character creation competition back in March, we thought, let's give our Vampires the whole month for this event! The winner by community vote will get to have their character drawn by one of our talented artists!
• 5PM Pacific on Twitch - Vampire Wednesday - Preview the Ravnos pre-constructed deck from the upcoming The Dragon & The Rogue expansion for Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals Expandable Card Game! Join the Matts, Holland and Hyra to learn what makes the Ravnos tick!
• 7PM Pacific on Twitch - Hunter: The Reckoning New Blood Episode 1 - Join us for the first installment of this Month of Darkness two-part Hunter: The Reckoning story with Storyteller Diana DiMicco and our incredible cast of Hunters: Noordin Kadir, Jesse Jerdak, Paula Hawthorne, and Kris Gideon!
  PLUS, the winner of March's Hunter: The Reckoning character creation competition will now receive their reward - their character, Dr. Dahlia Dior, will be featured as an NPC in this story!

Week 2, October 12th

October 15th (Rivals Special Event!)

• Special Event - Geeky Teas in Burbank, California will host a Month of Darkness Celebratory Rivals Tournament! Renegade Game Studios will be on scene with some extra goodies and to provide tournament coverage.

Week 3, October 19th
